Privacy

This notice covers this website and the Admin Bestie waitlist. Last updated 18 October 2026. The app has its own notice.

Who runs this site

Admin Bestie is made by Sam Heel, who is responsible for the information collected here. To ask about it, email hello@adminbestie.app.

If you join the waitlist

You give your email address and, if you choose, your first name. Alongside them the site keeps the date you joined, the country your connection came from, whether you were on a phone, tablet or computer, where you came from (for example an invite link, an Instagram post or a search engine) and the exact wording you agreed to when you joined.

This is used to email you about the launch and your beta invite, to work out your place on the list, and to show you how many friends joined with your link. If you add your first name, people who open your invite link see it.

You can leave at any time from your waitlist page, which deletes your email straight away. The list is otherwise kept until 12 months after the app launches, then deleted.

When you visit

The site counts visits so it can tell which links and adverts bring people here. For each page view it records the page, where the visit came from, the country, the type of device and a visitor code. The visitor code is made from your connection and browser with a value that changes every day, so a visit can be counted once per day but can’t be linked to you or followed from one day to the next. Your IP address isn’t stored.

Visit records are deleted after about 13 months.

What the site doesn’t do

It sets no cookies and has no advertising or tracking scripts from other companies. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers. Your browser keeps a small note that you’ve joined, so the site can show you your place next time; clearing your browser data removes it.

Who else handles it

The site and its database run on Cloudflare, which processes the data on Sam Heel’s behalf and may store it outside your country. Emails about the launch will be sent through an email provider acting on the same terms.

Why this is allowed

Emails are sent because you asked to join the list (your consent). Counting visits is done because it is needed to run and improve the site, in a way that doesn’t identify you (legitimate interests). Bermuda’s Personal Information Protection Act applies. If you live in the UK or EU, UK and EU data protection law gives you the same rights. If you live in the US, the rights below apply to you too, whichever state you’re in.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what’s held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it’s used. To do any of these, email hello@adminbestie.app. You can also complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda, or to your own country’s data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.

For US visitors, including in California: your personal information isn’t sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising, there’s nothing to opt out of, and you won’t be treated differently for asking about your information.
