Admin Bestie: bills, spending, the gym and your to-dos in one place.

Signing in

Sign in with Apple, or with Google. The first time, the app makes your account and an empty household for you. If someone invited you into their household, sign in with the email address the invite went to.

Sharing with your household

Bills, shared expenses and the split are shared with everyone in your household. Your own spending pot, tasks, gym and planner are yours alone. To add someone, go to Settings → your household → Invite someone.

Notifications

Settings → Notifications → Turn on notifications. If you said no when iOS asked, turn them on in iOS Settings → Notifications → Admin Bestie.

Locking the app

Settings → Lock → Use Face ID to open the app. It asks when the app opens and when you come back after a minute away.

Scanning a receipt

Photograph a receipt and the app fills in the shop, date, total and items for you to check. The first time, it asks whether the photo may be read by an AI model; you can change your answer in Settings → About. The photo isn’t kept.

A copy of your data

Settings → Your data → Download a copy gives you one file with everything the app holds about you.

Deleting your account

Settings → Your data → Delete my account, then type DELETE. Your account and everything that is yours alone are deleted straight away; if you’re the only person in your household, its records go too. There’s no undo, so take a copy first if you want one.
